On January 29,2014 Lisa had a bad wreck and she was life flighted to Hermann Memorial downtown Houston.
On the way she had a stroke which left her with a traumatic brain injury. She was in a coma for 5 weeks.
Once out of the coma and in physical therapy to learn to walk and speak again she did lots of painting and art to help with her motor skills.
January 29,2020 6 years later and she is still doing therapy by painting crosses. She sells her crosses to bring awareness to how important art is to her and to her family. She has learned to talk to people again as well as use her hands.
